Lepenski Vir

Lepenski Vir preserves, beneath a large protective canopy on the Danube near Donji Milanovac, the remains of a Mesolithic and early Neolithic community. Its trapezoidal houses, hearths and stone sculptures are best understood through an unhurried museum visit and its interpretive material.
