Sutjeska National Park

Sutjeska National Park combines the memorial landscape of Tjentište with the strict Perućica reserve. Dragoš Sedlo provides a short approach to the forest’s scale, while entering Perućica requires an announced, approved and guided visit with authorized park staff.

What makes it special

The Valley of Heroes at Tjentište includes the monument, ossuary, amphitheatre and spaces dedicated to the 1943 Battle of Sutjeska.
Dragoš Sedlo overlooks the Perućica canopy, Skakavac Waterfall and the surrounding mountains.
The published Perućica excursion involves slopes, streams and natural obstacles, covering about 8–9 km in 4–5 hours.
